Late Mommy Nights

I remember the days I dreamed of being a mother. Though, now all it seems that I dream of is a good nights sleep. My child seems to believe that the only person that needs to sleep is her. It seems as if no body part is off limits. So much so that I have come to believe that if you don't wake up to a foot in the face somethings wrong. I was told that things get better the older that children get. Well where is my sleepy ending lol?

Today I got braces.

Today is the day that I officially got my braces put on. Well the top ones at least. I will not get the bottom ones put on until I am further along in my treatment. I arrived at the orthodontist's office this morning and waited for what seemed like forever to be seen. But in all actuality it was not that long.at all I was just  anxious. I know it may seem silly for me to have anxiety about getting braces but I did. Maybe, its because getting braces also means that I will be having surgery in the near future. Well here goes everything lol.

The death of OSAMA BIN LADEN.

Last night president Obama announced that OSAMA BIN LADEN had been killed. It has long been the goal of the United States to apprehend the leader of the mass terrorist group. So when it was reported that he had been eliminated as a threat the country felt a sense of relief. Maybe, even justice for 9/11. I often shy away from the topic of politics but this incident in particular in unavoidable. It reiterates the United States as a powerful force. This incident is also one of the highlight of Obama's presidency. it may be what he needs to gain the trust and cooperation of the government and the American people. I just hope that when they eliminated OSAMA they thought ahead enough to try to find his leaders and their plans for terroist activity. The head of the snake has been chopped off. But that does not account for its body. We need to be vigilant now more than ever and hope that what the future holds is understanding, cooperation, and peace.
